UAPA is rolling up our sleeves this fall!
Posted August 31st, 2011 by AnonymousAND UAPA NEEDS YOU!
- We're involved in the fight to repeal SB5.
- We're identifying progressive UA City Council candidates and supporting them.
- We're working hard to reverse HB194, the unfair Republican voter suprression bill.
- We're laying the groundwork for 2012's Presidential, Senate and House races.
- We're providing you with a forum to discuss and learn about timely local, state and national topics at our monthly Coffee and Conversation.
- We're about to unveil our new UAPA website to keep our UA progressives informed and plugged in.
We need your financial support in order to continue fighting for our progressive agenda. Please consider making a contribution of $100, $50, $25 or any amount you choose to UAPA. If every UAPA member made a modest contribution, we'd be able to accomplish all of the above and a great deal more...of course the more you donate, the more impact we have!
Send your check, payable to UAPA, to 2491 Lane Road, Columbus, Ohio 43220.
Thank you in advance for your support!

UAPA's Third Annual Garage Sale Slated for Saturday, August 8: Clear Out Clutter for a Cause
Posted July 10th, 2009 by Pathadler

July 23, 2009 • UAProgressiveAction.com
We need your gently used donations!
Our third annual Community-Wide Garage Sale will be held August 8, 9:00 - 2:00 p.m. at the same location as last year, Roy and Agnes Butler's home, 2174 Ridgeview Road, on the northwest corner of Ridgeview and Redding Roads.
This annual event provides much of the funds that keep UAPA strong and ready for the next challenge, as well as provide progressives like you with information, education about progressive politics, and the opportunity to socialize with like-minded friends and neighbors.
Please start emptying your attics, basements and garages for gently used items. Popular sellers are furniture, household items, sporting goods, working appliances, garden tools, and knick knacks. Children's furniture, accessories and large toys also go quickly. We cannot accept any clothing because it just doesn't sell.
Start gathering donations today and, if necessary, we can pick up the items on August 7th. Please contact Jim Fronk at 488-1235 or email him at jfronk3@gmail.com to arrange for pick up if necessary.
Volunteers are needed to help work the sale. Please call Jim Fronk at 488-1235 to volunteer for either a morning or early afternoon shift.
We will update you with more details, including the location of where to drop off items.
Hope to see you at our CLEAR OUT THE CLUTTER FOR A CAUSE garage sale!

We need your gently used donations!
Back by popular demand, our annual Community-Wide Garage Sale will be held August 9th at the same location as last year, Roy and Agnes Butler's home on the northwest corner of Ridgeview and Redding Roads.

Please start emptying your attics and burrowing through your basements for gently used items. Popular sellers are furniture, household items, working appliances, garden tools, and knick knacks. Children's furniture, accessories and large toys also go quickly. We will not accept any clothing.

CHANGE FOR CHANGE 2008
We can all find ways to scare up some extra change: the recliner, the bottom of your kid's backpack, the floor of your car, bypassing that Skinny Cinnamon Dolce Latte (isn't this a little oxymoronish?). Become a recurring contributor to UAPA - we sort of like the symbolism of $20.08 - but contribute what you can afford on a monthly basis. Your credit card will be automatically and securely billed on the same day each month for as long as you like. Thanks for your support!
